The focus in year 9 is for students to be the best they can be; it is well known that students who do well in this year will do well in GCSE’s. Students are encouraged to develop independent learning skills in order to complete the year knowing that they have done their best. This is excellent preparation for Key Stage 4 and GCSE’s. In year 9 students make their GCSE options choices. All staff are happy to advise students in this sometimes difficult task. There is also lots of information, advice and guidance available to parents.
