The most frenetic and pressure driven year of all. Our current Year 11 is the biggest year of all and we have high hopes that they are going to be a record breaking year.
Having been their Head of Year for the past 4 years I am very proud of the year group has matured since I took them over. Particular memories for me are holding snakes, tarantulas and chicken on Option 6 days and who can forget the recycled fashion day?
Year 11 have much to look forward to, GCSE exams in November, January, may and June being the obvious highlight. I must say I am particularly looking forward to taking the whole year group bowling, seeing all the smiles (and some tears) on the final day, everybody dressed to the nines at the prom – and most of all a group of smiling, proud faces on results day.
