A large number of courses are on offer for you to choose from, many of which are also held in the community at Tang Hall, Heworth, Osbaldwick and Stockton Lane.
The centre is a welcoming place to study. Our tutors form one of the finest teams in York and are dedicated to giving students a worthwhile learning experience. Centre staff are very friendly and approachable and will work hard with you to enable you to obtain the most that you can from your course.
We hope that you will be able to find a course of interest with us. Whether it is participating in a recreational course or completing an examination course.
And its more than just about learning – it’s a social occasion as well. Many students achieve a great deal during their course with us:
“Gaining a recognised qualification that is relevant to my career”
“Doing something I have always wanted to do…it’s great”
“Meeting friendly people, learning a new subject, expanding knowledge, excellent tuition”
“Returning to work after a long absence and not feeling out of my depth”
We aim to make our courses welcoming to all sections of the community. We are committed to developing a positive policy to promote equal opportunity in our courses, regardless of learners’ gender, disability, age, marital status, colour, race, ethnic or national origin or social background.
